Hey, I’m Rupak!
I am currently an MS by Research student at IIIT Hyderabad, working under the supervision of Prof. C. V. Jawahar. My research focuses on the problem of understanding charts in academic documents. Before joining IIIT Hyderabad, I worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at AIMonk Labs Pvt Ltd working on video analytics and document image analysis using computer vision and deep learning.

Use Vision Transformers and Scattering Coefficients to perform segmentation on Ultrasound and Chest Xray images

Use object detection and tracking to monitor video feeds and send statistics or alerts to end user to act on.
Whale Recognition
Recognising whales using histogram of oriented gradients and Dense SIFT algorithms.
